I have followed all of the instructions. I made sure to install it correctly, and to move the folder, copy and paste what I needed to, tried compatibility, run as administrator, everything! Yet it still will not work. And apparently emails aren't accepted anymore. I need help! Sims 4 won't start/Followed instructions/Screenshot included. [SOLVED] Screen10

Yes, e-mail support has been put offline. All support requests must be posted either on the forum here, or alternatively on our Facebook-page. As for your problem, please re-read again the guide about correctly configuring Windows Defender and third-party anti-virus software.

Then make sure that you re-download and re-apply the relevant crack-files here. Copy and paste the under the Game\Bin subfolder, replacing the existing files when prompted. Then try the game again.

I've added exceptions for the sims 4 file folders already. I will redo with the crack file and let you know.

I didn't bother adding the expansions, just the fix and crack and it worked.

Well now it starts, but gets stuck on loading screen each time. Task manager says sims 4 not responding and I have to restart my laptop just to exit out of sims 4.

You need to make sure to keep the install order as follows:


1) TS4 Base game
2) Get to Work
3) Get together
4) "Hotfix" (see this here)

Just adding the Ultimate fix (on top of the base game) isn't going to work; due to a technicality with the Sims 4 games.
