TS4 Not running - Need to update via Origin to play?

I'm using a base game I paid for, and tried to install the expansions ( and did it in order as the one installation post and instructions said to do ) and I still get this error message when I try to run it.


Unable To Start:

The contents of your user data dictoranry were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via Origin to Play

I was wondering how to fix this issue.

Delete GameVersion.txt in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Then try running The Sims 4. Now, when you installed pirated addons you can't anymore access Gallery.
