Help pls, I've had problem updating my sims 3 with this manual patch, when my update is almost done, a file error will always show up saying that the system could not find the file specified (paulcf6e.rra) Should I ignore it and continue the update or re-download sims 3 again??? (Since I've tried re-installing the sims 3 but the problem still shows up when updating)

Welcome to the forum.
It sounds to me like you have to redownload the patch, rather than the game Smile

Of course you can try to ignore the error, but it's likely that this will not work.
My best advice would be to redownload the patch, and make sure it's not interrupted as it is being downloaded.
