Sims 3 Autorun won't run.[SOLVED]

Hi!

I was trying to figure out this issue on my own for the last two days and I just couldn't pin point why it was happening.

I downloaded The Sims 3 Complete Collection, disabled my anti-virus before I even started the download, because I know that it's caused me some issues with previous downloads, regardless, everything was smooth and great.
Extracted everything and then when I tried to start installing the base game, the autorun.exe just won't run, I tried to run it as an administrator and all, it wouldn't, didn't even show up on my task manager.

What little I can tell you, is that this is a completely clean install, or an attempt at it, since this laptop was bought and set up only a few days ago. I know that previously I had uninstalled The Sims 3 incorrectly and had an issue alike to this, but that shouldn't be the case with this computer.

My OS is Windows 10, if that helps at all.

Are you still having problem installing? If what you specify is correct, then the simple answer would be to actually run the Sims3setup.exe instead of the autorun.


PS: There should be no problem running Sims 3 on Win10 :3

I installed the base game with the old way of installing it, that seemed to work without an issue.
