City Living-Game Data Incomplete error!

Hello   So,yesterday I installed City Living and everything worked great, but today when I started the game I got a message saying that the game data is incomplete and I just had content from the base game. I tried to "reinstall" but still nothing changed..please,help! Thank you

Hello @supergirl_ and sorry for the late reply,

You have Origin completely closed/are signed out of any Origin account? And if you have any mods or custom content, please remove them temporarily. Another thing to keep in mind: consider running the game as Admin (right-click -> run as Administrator). See if it lets you play then. Good luck and do keep us posted!

I don't have any custom content installed, also don't have Origin installed on my computer..I always run the game as Admin, but still have this problem

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately that post wasn't helpful   I guess I'll have to "reinstall" every time before playing, but that's ok  in the end, it's worth it

You shouldn't have to re-install the game every time before playing (and sorry for the late reply). Did you use WinRAR, for extracting the contents of the .rar downloads, or did you use another program?

And again, are you 100% positive you don't have any mods? Please navigate to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and temporarily rename the folder "Mods", into anything.

You don't have to apologize for the late reply, I'm thankful that you answer me at all  
So, to answer your questions, I used winRAR and I'm 1000% positive I don't have any mods. I had some, but when this problem occured I tried to find solutions here on the forum, and I read somewhere something about removing mods from the ''Mods'' folder (or something like that) so I deleted everything from the Mods folder (and the Tray folder as well). 

After I read your post I renamed the Mods folder, started the game, played for a minute, then saved and closed it. Then I launched it again, and everything was ok, I didn't get the error message. I hope it will stay that way. I'll play for a bit longer now and after I save and close, I'll run it again just to see if everything is normal, and I'll let you know. Thank you for your reply!
