Sims 4 crashes during loading after installing City Living

Hello all!

I did a fresh install, following all of the instructions. I've uninstalled and re-installed multiple times, just in case. The first time through, it freezes at the end of the announcement for Glamour Stuff. After that, It will get to the second tip and spinning plumbob and then it freezes. I ctl/alt/delete and it shows as "not responding". I've tried every tip suggested to all of the other people saying that it's crashing, and it still freezes. I have nothing in my tray, no CC, totally fresh game... and Origin isn't running.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

**Fixed it!**

Ok. I thought about it. My RARs were old downloads.. from when they were all first released. So I went and got new versions of them. That seemed to fix my problem. Thought I would say so here in case anyone else had the same issue!

May I ask though what exactly you meant by "your .rar files were old downloads"?

May I ask though what exactly you meant by "your .rar files were old downloads"?

I downloaded everything I had right when it first was cracked. I'm not 100% sure my original base Sims was G4TW. It may have been something from an early crack before G4TW put it on the site as a convenient package.

I went to the G4TW website and got the torrents there and used those, and then, everything worked.
