Origin interferes with my downloaded Sims 4

I have a legit Sims-4 game, version 1.26 (All EP's, GP's, no SP's) on my C drive under Program Files(x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4
I also have a pirated Sims-4 game (all upto and inc. Cityliving), version 1.25 on my D drive. under simsgames\The Sims 4
Of course Origin is set to install and update the folder on my C drive.
Lately I noticed several times that when I let Origin update or re-install and I started my pirated game it comes up with an error that the Sims 4 is not working anymore and must be closed.
This happens since the update for the Toddlers.
Could it be that version 1.26 contains something that makes pirated games unworkable, even when they are in different drives ?
I had no problems before that update.
At present I solved this problem by having made an iso from the install folder of the prirated games, mounted it and start the game from there.
Origin cannot alter an iso.
