The Sims 3 - The Complete Store

Hi to whoever may be able to help,

I downloaded The Complete Store, copied everything to /Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, and opened the Launcher....only it didn't show me anything. I tried to deleting it and copied it back in, but it still didn't show. Opened and closed the Launcher a few times, still nothing. Tried finding something in the forum but found no real answer that fits my problem.

Thanks to anyone who may be able to help me

Hello and welcome to the Forum @Lenaar,

I don't think you will get any special notifications in the launcher for these store items, but there should be a popup in the game about these .package files. And then of course, you should have the items in-game, when you play. Very Happy

Hello and thank you for welcoming me The gh0stm4n,

But didn't it say in the instructions that they are suppose to appear in the downloads when you open the Launcher and then from there you have to install them?

Sorry if I understood that wrong.

Ah yes, you're speaking about the worlds. Can you re-copy the "Downloads"-folder, from the torrent, into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3? Sometimes the worlds don't show up immediately and you have to try work around this by e.g. re-copying the .sims3pack files, into the location. This is really a problem with the launcher of The Sims 3, which was never fixed by EA.

Tried re-copying multiple times already....still isn't showing up. Even tried to restarding my laptop and then re-copy it, didn't work either. But if it really is a problem then I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it somehow does show up.

It's a radical step, but try renaming the folder "The Sims 3" under Documents\Electronic Arts. Start the launcher, but don't start the game yet. Then, a fresh "The Sims 3"-folder should be created under the location. Try putting the items in there, then. Smile
