sims 3 expansions won't let me open up initial .exe file to install
Hi there, I searched through the forum looking for a possible answer to my problem, but nothing yet
When I try to open up the "Sims3SP01Setup.exe" it automatically pops up with an error message reading:
>SetupNew\setup.cpp (140)
PAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$15.0.0.498
@Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (7601)
IE Version 9.0.8112.16421
I have Windows 7, and i'm not quite sure how to fix this problem

Hello,
Do not use any other software to extract the .rar file except WinRar. Otherwise, you'll face mess with your installation. Re-extract use WinRar.

Hello,
Please open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When
you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and
drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is
done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now,
start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should
be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!
