Empty base game folder. [SOLVED]

Hi, I recently decided to play the sims 3 again but I had to download it from origin. I also downloaded all of the expansions you all have made for the sims 3. When I try to replace the files in the C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims\Game\Bin base game folder I cant because the folder is completely empty. This seems odd because when I open the launcher and it wants me to update. Should I go ahead and do the update or do I have to redownload the sims 3 in order to have folders in the Electronic Arts folder? I really hope I dont have to redownload because it takes so long

Since you installed it via Origin, the folder you're looking for should be located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
