Sims 3 pets crashes IMMEDIATELY after it starts

Holy sdfgyhgf I have never been so annoyed at a video game. Ugh, anyway, yes I have done the DEP fix, yes I have the ultimate fix correctly installed, yes my game is updated, yes I have tried running it in compatibly mode. Everytime I click on the Sims 3 Pets icon, it crashes says "Sims 3 Launcher has stopped working". So I tried bypassing the launcher with going to bin and clicking the TS3EP05 exe and it will load up for about 5 seconds and look like its working but lol nope, it just freakin crashes to desktop and says its not working. I deleted all my mods/custom content. My sims 3 is retail and my sims 3 pets is G4tw. I don't have any other expansions, I'm on windows vista. I meet the requirements, but barely, this computer is old.

I've done everything except the video card one, because I can't find "vertical sync" on 3d settings.

If you do the DEP thing correctly, it usually does the trick.

Hello,
The solution is quite simple actually, you're using the wrong .exe to bypass the launcher. You're using TS3EP05 in Pets Game Bin when you should try the TS3W in the Base Game bin.
