Sims 4 crashing minutes into the game
Hi
I have all the sims4 that you have made available to us (many thanks ) but I was getting the above problem once I had downloaded CC,I use Chrome and TSR downloader attatched to that, I spent hours and I mean hours sifting through my CC to see which file was causing the game to Crash even though it had been workig perfectly before so here is what I have found I just purchased my latest PC in Nov 2016 so still pretty new and fairley empty, over this weekend I discovered that,if you have windows 7-10 you might have Microsoft onedrive auto active on your system, I discovered I had it running and it was showing that I was running out of space in it, I went to my sims4 mods folder and there is another folder there called TSR library and inside it are some archive files one of the files had a red x on it,I removed that file my game worked perfectly, then I downloaded some other CC and there was another archive created with the red x I removed that one but found my game would start and within a few minutes it would crash so I was stuck I went through all the archives in the TSR library folder this is not the TSR download folder that is placed outside the MOD folder I removed each archived file and tried my game and there again my game started and played no problem so yesterday I disabled my onedrive and I started my Game and I was presented with Welcome to all the different eP's this has never happened before it was like i had just installed the game from start, so I clicked all that away and found yup my played saved game had been removed it is still in the one drive I took the Folder out and added it to my Docs folder but my game was lost forever, I just wanted to let you know in case anyone else tries this or ends up like me thinking their game is not working its only happening because I have loads of CC and my one drive wouldn't sync the newer CC being downloaded so therefore the files didn't match and the game crashed if you tend you use one drive make sure you minimise the amount of CC you use as you will find yourself with this issue *******Just TO LET You All Know OF this Problem****** sorry for typing the saga but it did cost me hours and hours of file searching looking for errors that were not actually there hope this can help anyone who might have the same problem or just Delete this post if you think it wont help anyone else...

Hello and sorry to hear about that,
I believe this is only a thing with Windows 8 & Windows 10 though. And, when I eventually switched from Windows 7 to 10, my OneDrive was actually de-activated by default. Maybe it has something to do when you first install Windows 10, and you install the system while you provide a "Microsoft account ID/password", but I didn't do that (I chose "create a local user-account").
Does that also mean, that if you de-activate this OneDrive, AFTER it was activated, that all files are removed or deleted? Forever? Sounds intriguing to me, but then again I myself never used that feature on Windows 10, so I'm not sure...

Re: Sims 4 crashing minutes into the game
Hi
you can access your files that are in one drive through onedrive.com but as sims4 are not getting access to one drive there not usable. I set up my Windows 10 on my PC it might well have been in the beginning but I don't remember that far back I just wanted to warn ppl they might lose their CC if stored in one drive and they hide it or uninstall it you lose your very hard worked saved games
