Black Plumbob.

Hello, I installed both Get To Work and Get Together and when I open the game, it loads perfectly fine. The problem is, my sims plumbob is black. I tried deleting cache files, reinstalling the game, etc. I searched the forum for answers but theres this thing called hotfix for get together but i dont know where to find it.

 Did I do something wrong while installing the game? Do I still need City living to fix the problem? Please help ASAP   Im sorry if this problem is easy to fix but im a noob so please bare with me ;-;

From what I understand, you are mixing official and cracked games. We cannot guarantee the success of that endeavor...
Please try with a cracked-only game and let us know.

I have fixed my problem. I went beast mode and deleted every sims 4 files I had on my laptop (and almost DELETED my files for school.) and now I tried installing ts4 again on my PC. I made sure that I followed the steps correctly, and blah blah blah, opened ts4 and tadaaa! It's all good now. 

I have a feeling that my Laptop has a graphics problem so im probably stick to playing games on my PC. (sad that I can only play at home

You could try reducing graphics settings on the laptop. Plus, there is a checkbox in the options that says "Laptop Mode", you could try marking that checkbox and see if it helps make any difference (alongside lowering the graphics).
