The Sims Four "Toddlers and Vampires" Origin Error

I downloaded the G4W versions of the base game and all expansion packs for the Sims 4. When I downloaded and installed the "Toddlers and Vampires" update, I started getting the "Unable to start: Origin is not currently running" error. This did not appear before I downloaded the "Toddlers and Vampires" file, and the game worked with the "City Living update." What can I do to prevent this error and play the game successfully?

Please help those of us with the origin currently not running error...i've been searching the forum all over for answers but there is nothing much..i've downloaded all of my sims 4 game with g4tw and it was fine until the toddlers and vampires update...pls help! Thanks!

hi, i tried the link you gave me (downloaded the No-Origin files and applied) but it still doesnt work..Now instead of the origin error, it says Sims 4 has stopped working... I checked if i had anything left in the Mods folder after I reinstalled but there's nothing there except the resource file. Your help is very much appreciated!
