how to update the base game sims 4?

hi so i downloaded the base game in games4theworld.org/downloads/ its perfectly working fine.. i tried downloading some mods but some are required to update the game from latest patch. according to #installationGuideText i have to visit games4theworld.forumotion.com for updates. but i cant seem find how to update the sims4 .. i hope you help me thank you

In the .rar files there is always a description about what you need to do. All the downloads are here.

hi followed the guides successfully. but i want to update and play the basegame without downloading expansions..  but the update link seems dead and the thread is already locked

Unfortunately, we no longer use the ultimate fix method. The only solution to update the game would be to installed the other EP as well, unless someone managed to created an update-only method. And if this has already been done and someone knows about it, do tell us.
