origin is currently not running

okay so.. a few months ago i tried installing the sims 4 and i kept getting this error, so i gave up cause there was no fix for this back then. now i decided to try once more and i'm still getting this error 
yes i have installed the sims 4 just like i was told to, but i can't find the fix for this error on this forum. can someone help, please?

Hi there!
Is the error still there after installing the latest update (Parenthood)? If so, check to make sure your .dll aren't missing in the sims 4 folder. Also, you can download the files here and copy+paste them just to make sure.
