Origin Is Not Running
Hi guys, I'm new around here.
I have a problem trying to play, everything was fine until the expansion Get To Work; After that the Origin error appeared with the other expansions. The only solution I found was to download Origin, but not install it completely, but this causes that my game close if I don't have internet (It happens a lot) I did all the steps several times and nothing works for me. Here I leave some photos to see if I have done something wrong. (All the games are from G4TW)
Thank you very much and excuse my English, I speak Spanish.
I put them in the exceptions of my antivirus
My game folder, I think the antivirus didn't delete any files .
The only way to open de game

Re: Origin Is Not Running
Hi there,
Have you read these two posts?
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t21806-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-4-correctly#
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18501-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup-updated-on-11-9-2015#
In the scond link it explains clearly and in detail what needs to be excludet. You must also exclude your downloadsfolder temporarily or turn off the antivirus completely. That means all your AntiVirus. The one that comes with windows and any third party one you might have on your computer. The Files from G4TW are safe!!!!!. Should you do that, remember to turn on again after installing. Also delete the Downloads folder from Exclusions. Also exclude the downloads file of your Bittorrent, whichever one you are using. Mine is Vuze. Try again
Hope it helps

Re: Origin Is Not Running
Yes, I read everything. The only thing I couldn't do was add "C: \ Program Files (x86)" because my antivirus (McAfee) doesn't allow it in any way, the rest i did everything like is in the guide. The first time the antivirus sent the files to quarantine, I restored them and add them to the exceptions. I was able to play without any error until Get to Work, after that expansion the others did not work the same. (Base Game: Yes / Get To Work: Yes / Get Together and the rest: Not)
Before I asked here. I followed all the steps in the Installation Guide and the problem keep going.
I don't know if the problem is my antivirus that doesn't give me options to add the files I want to exceptions, but I don't understand why it worked fine with Get To Work.
Thanks for answering. Maybe I'll wait until my McAfee subscription is over and install another antivirus.

Restore quarantined items
When McAfee quarantines items, it encrypts and isolates them in a folder to prevent the files, programs, or cookies from harming your PC.
If you quarantined an item by mistake, or if you learn that an item on the list does not pose a security threat, you can remove it from quarantine.
