Sims 4 parenthood troubles [SOLVED]

Hey guys, i'm new here 
I've downloaded all packs and they're all showing up but the parenthood pack. in the installation instructions it said to "merge" the folders but i didn't see that option when copying the folders like the rest of the packs so i'm thinking that could be the problem?  if any of you copied the parenthood pack the same way as the rest and think i've missed a step please let me know, i'm just a little bit confused. 

(as well as i'm unable to close my game but just clicking "Exit game" but i'm gonna look for that answer in the forum a little more)

By "merging" is meant just copying as you did with the other DLC's. You will be notified that there are x number of files with the same name, overwrite ?. Answer: Yes

Alright, it finally worked! just i'm experiencing the long loading screen but i've seen that in other topics.  thank you for replying
