Hi!!

I've installed the sims 3, but now when I'm opening it up, it says I'm playing a unauthorized version ?

Help me please!

Hello,
If you apply the Ultimate fix, you should be able to play. It also works on MAC.
Note that the fix requires either: Generations, Town Life Stuff or Pets to work.

download Pets 3, Town life Stuff AND Generations? Because I only
downloaded Generations.. ?

I applied the fix, I followed the guide exactly, but it still doesn't work!

No just Generations should be enough.
I wish I could help you more, I really don't know anything about MAC. Maybe another MAC user here can help you.

Hello,
Remember I know nothing about MAC, but where did you copy the crack to?
On PC it goes to the base game/bin, not the Generations game\bin. I assume its the same on MAC.

Hi, the launcher starts, but when I press play a white screen comes up! And then it shuts down.

And yes, the crack goes to the game/bin folder in the applications folder. Smile

Maybe its only the launcher that's crashing. Have you tried bypassing the launcher?

But now it says that I don't have a generations disc ?

Should I just get the base game or?

Hello,
That's its asking for the disk would normally mean that your crack is missing or perhaps outdated. It wouldn't matter if you tried bypassing the launcher in this case.
To do that, go to your install directory and use TS3W.exe to start the game.

But how can I open a .exe file if I'm on a mac? Smile

I'm going to reinstall everything again and download the ultimate fix for mac again!

EDIT: And when I try to install the Sims 3 base game it asks for a serial key but I can't find one anywhere.. ?

LOL you are right of course, I spend so much time in this topic I forgot it was about MAC, ok how about trying whatever icon you'd try on MAC to start the game without the launcher.
And please forgive my ignorance.
I don't know about the serial though, you're supposed to use a base game file uploaded by Dale, its here in the mac section somewhere, don't know if it has a serial though.
But you can get any Sims 3 serial key from Google. Most of them work.

But I've looked in the Game/bin folder and there's not a single mac file, only .exe files that I'm unable to open..

Yeah I did that at first, I though I was supposed to have a specific key, but I guess not. Smile

Edit : Am I suppose to copy the #crack folder in the ultimate fix to the base games game/bin folder?

I think it has to go to the base game\bin. Again, I can't be sure on MAC, but I imagine it still goes there.

Yeah I did that, but it's still not working?

But when I apply the ultimate fix, am I suppose to apply the base game crack as well ? And am I suppose to apply the Pet's crack too?

The guide isn't that specific about what to do.. Smile

Hello,
There's only one crack, the rest are original files. Only the files from the #crack folder are the actual crack.
