Loaded once, now crashes.
So, I found the gameversion.txt file and deleted it. The game started up perfectly, until I got to the start screen where you pick your save or create a new. I got the pop ups explaining each new expansion I got and I think I clicked too fast? It stopped responding so I closed it. This was running the not x64 version. So I tried to run it again and now I can't even get to that start screen before it starts crashing. I restarted my computer and tried the x64 version since my computer is a x64. Same problem, couldn't even get to the start menu. What am I doing wrong? I get no pop ups or anything, my game just says not responding.

Hi there,
It may or may not be a missing/corrupted DLC. Have you tried running the game in windowed mode instead to see if it can run without crashing? Also, make sure that your pc at least meets the minimum requirements for the game, and take note that adding more DLCs (in future as well) will use more space/memory later on.
Check that all your drivers are up-to-date, and that Sims 4 is not running in the background in task manager. If you have previously played it before, move out, or rename your current Sims 4 folder in Documents and start the game 'fresh'.
If all the above fails however, you can try to re-install the game pack by pack and see where the crash starts. I'd suggest if you have space in your pc to keep the .rar files at the moment, or save them somewhere to save you the trouble in future.

I changed the folder in my documents like you had said and it took me to the start menu again and looked like it was going to work. Once I got to the pop up notifying me that I had the fitness expansion, however, it crashed. Now that I think about it, the first time it crashed it was also on fitness. Could the fitness files be the issue? What could I do to change that? Also, is there a way to select to run it in windowed mode if you can't get to the menu to pick that option? Thank you for the help thus far.

For windowed mode, you can change the Options.ini file located in Documents\EA\The Sims 4, open it and go to fullscreen -> change the = 1 to 0, so it should be fullscreen = 0, save it and run the game again. If you're having difficulty scrolling through the list, ctrl + f in the notepad and type in fullscreen.
You can try to re-apply the fitness pack again, or try to disable the fitness pack. You can read the guide here.
