i have the exact same problem as megan_boast. everything works super fine until i have to create a dog on my the sims 4. i tried checking for my graphic driver update but everything is up to date.

By any chance, does your computer have more than one graphics card? If so, can you change the settings such, that The Sims 4 uses the "stronger" card?

In NVIDIA cards for example, the NVIDIA control panel allows you to set graphics settings for every installed application, and at that rate, if your computer has more than one card, you can even set which card is to be used.

thank you for the reply, but i checked my device manager, and it only has 1 graphic card which is intel hd. i did check on the website for my type of laptop, and it says there my laptop supports amd hd but i have to install it first. maybe amd is better than intel? what's your opinion?

There are at present still no Intel graphics cards capable of playing the Sims 3 and 4 without any hickups.
When you have a second card, please use it.

^that sentence is technically a contradiction of your foregoing statement. Your laptop can either have just the Intel HD, or an Intel HD plus an additional stronger chip. The latter will be the case if your laptops happens to be a more expensive model. At that point, please refer to any instruction manuals or other documentation that was shipped with your computer.

And yes, should you have two cards, please "activate" the stronger one (the alleged AMD HD, in your case).
