Cats and Dogs are installed but doesn't work. [SOLVED]

Hey

I installed TS4 with all DLC's including Cats and Dogs Expansion pack. (Latest update: Laundry Day Stuff Pack)

I noticed, that in Build mode, there was no items in the Expansion pack in the filter, so I tried to create a pet, but then, The game crashed.

I followed the Instructions step by step and I'm 100% that I did everything right, The game is in the C:/Program Files/The Sims 4 (Running x64 PC).

Hello and welcome to the Forum @marteenus,

On the main menu of the game, are the logos for "Cats & Dogs" and "Laundry Day Stuff" lit up? That means, when you hover with the mouse over the logos it should say "installed" on each.

Also, if you try moving with your sim to a different neighborhood, do you see "Brindleton Bay"?

If you still have the torrents for Cats & Dogs plus Laundry day, you could try copying/pasting the Cats & Dogs torrent again, over your Sims 4 install. Then do the same with Laundry Day.

Now test the game again. Good luck for now!

So I checked the logos in the main menu, and it's lit up, but the neighborhood ''Brindleton Bay'' isn't there.

I'm gonna re-download Cats and Dogs because of SSD space issues (At least I didn't delete the Laundry Stuff Pack) and then I'll post a reply after the fixes

Yes, sometimes these things can go wrong, and mostly the Windows operating system is to blame, because of the way file permissions are handled: sometimes when moving and/or copying stuff..."not everything gets moved/copied properly".

Unfortunately I don't have a direct download link for Cats & Dogs at hand, but the torrent should have many seeders, so speeds there must be good as well.

P.S. don't forget, you must re-install (copy/paste) Cats & Dogs, and then also re-install the Laundry day DLC!

After 30 minutes of downloading (BLESS YOU FIBER INTERNET 2.6 MB/SEC) I did Copy/Paste the Cats and Dogs and Laundry Stuff Pack. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND IT'S WORKING
