The Sims 3 soundtracks?

Alright, I will fully admit I have no idea where to post this so if I posted this in the wrong place, please forgive me. But I'm wondering if anyone here would know where to find a nice repository of Sims music, I know you can go to YouTube and download individual songs. But I have to know the name of them and all this different stuff. When I just want to listen to them for the moment. I'd like to hear some of the different music to be able to make a nice new radio station in the Sims three. I don't own every Sims three expansion pack, and I have no idea where my old copies of my Sims to stuff went so are there any resources which has like a collection of this stuff?

I moved your topic. That said, it depends on what exactly you want. If you "just" want an opportunity to listen to these songs, there are a few YouTube videos that have all songs in them, in one piece of audio. Like here for example.




You could rip/record that with a program like Audacity (freeware, google it), but then again it would result in just one big audio file with all songs linked together. I looked briefly at The PirateBay, but couldn't find anything on there, maybe you can find separate tracks on various other download sites, through googling.

Well, I tried the YouTube method before I posted the topic I'm trying to listen to some of the tracks from like 70s 80s and 90s stuff. And the only thing I've been able to find unless I'm entirely doing it wrong is like 3o second previews.

^that's because they want you to buy the stuff.

With that being said, I briefly fired up S3PE to look for these audio files, and after just 15 minutes I can already tell that this is going to be a bit tougher than expected to extract those things. It would be an interesting side-project to take on, but not now.

If you really want those songs/soundbites urgently, feel free to do more googling on your own, or...I don't know. At some point I want to post such an audio collection for The Sims 3. The thing is, it seems that ALL audio is jumbled up in several huge files, and S3PE takes ages to process those operations.

That's fine I just thought there may be a resource or something I'm missing. I don't really want like the stuff from the pack but I have to admit I'm interested in some of the music.
