Expansions all in base game?

Hey All 

I'm pretty new to this! But my problem is when I downloaded Get to Work, it loaded it worked properly when I launched the game but then when I downloaded Get Together and launched the game it appears GTW never existed. The world isn't the nor the goodies so I'm wondering what is the cause and how could I correct this? or is it supposed to be separate (I can only play in that one expansion not have all expansions in one game)

There's only 1 game and it grows bigger and bigger with the addition of DLC's 
These new expansions are incorporated into the Sims 4 and cannot be played separately.
