need help with picking out a video card for my desktop computer its a hp with 2 gb of space. it turns on but it doesn't recognized my monitor so i don't know if its the monitor or the video card everything else turns on so i am guessing its the video  card that went out on me finally its a old computer but it still works i think right now it has forgive my spelling but nvidia video card but i am not 100% sure if you can help me with this i will surely appreciate it going crazy without playing the sims and the last laptop i have don't have enough space to run any of the sims games. Thank you in advance!! Smile

I presume you have checked the connections on the PC and on the monitor ?
Is monitor in VGA modus (since you have an old PC) ?

yea i have tried the vga cord it also says no signal so i am thinking and getting the same answers from two of my friends that its the video card that went out on my computer
