Game doesn't open after the 1.46.18.1020 patch update

Hi!

I had everything working well (including Seasons) prior to applying the latest update. I extracted the files from the ISO file and moved them to The Sims 4 folder in C drive.

The first error I encountered is this one:



So I tried copying the OrangeEmu files from the previous Game folder and now the error is:



I have a 64-bit system and the game is saved in this path: C:\Program Files\The Sims 4

Did you read the purple text on update thread? It's easy to fix, just download "Game" folder, it's linked in the same thread.

I didn't delete the old Game folder and just renamed it as usual. I thought the links are only for ZLOrigin users as I never used them before.

I downloaded the Game folder and my game is running again. Thanks so much!

I am having this same issue, and I have put in the new game folder. I am still getting the same error

Most probably OrangeEmu has been attacked by your anti-virus shortly after the download of the Game folder.

There are 2 options:

1. Download the latest Game folder HERE and make sure that the folder you download to is also in the exclusions of your Anti-virus.

2. Assuming that your install folder The Sims 4 is alreay in the exclusions of your anti-virus:

Download OrangeEmu.rar HERE. Don't open it with Winrar as yet.
Move/copy the unextracted winrar file to your install folder The Sims4\Game\Bin
Now extract OrangeEmu.rar and overwrite existing files.
