New graphic card issue. I need help with .sgr files. [SOLVED]
Hello fellow simmers
This is the second problem I'm facing in my new computer. The first was solved here on this forum and it was about the game not being able to start. The solution was that I need to start my game in windowed mode. And after a while I understood that this was something I had to do because the game does not recognize my graphic card it is new.
I tried to solve this by editing the sgr files as a guide in wikihow suggested. I will include pictures of the files as they are right now after I have edit them.
Can you you help me? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I can play the game right now but only in windowed mode and it is slow and you know I have a new computer and I can't have the proper resolution for my game

Did you add the card 0x15dd "AMD Radeon(TM) RX Vega 11 Graphics", to the GraphicsCards.sgr too? And did you make sure to add this to the right column (vendor "ATI" 0x1002), as well?
As for the GraphicsRules.sgr, did you put the entry as the following?
"*Radeon *(TM) RX Vega 11") or match("${cardname}", "*Processor*")
Note that there are multiple entries like that in the GraphicsRules.sgr, and you should use the search function (CTRL + F), to find all of them eventually, and copy/paste that "RX Vega 11" in that place.
Did you also make sure to save both the .sgr files, after making these changes?
When starting up the game, use the button on the graphics menu that says "Restore Defaults", and see if that makes any difference.
Good luck for now, and keep us posted if you like!

Hello
Yes I did add the line to the GraphicsCards.sgr file and under the column ATI 0x1002. I think my problem is the entry on the GraphicRules file. I copy and paste the line as you wrote it saved the file on a different folder. Copy and paste it on Game-Bin. Don't seem to work. I still see the minimun options. And now I cannot read the DeviceConfig file. It has only two lines option and default options!
I also tried replacing only the "*Radeon *(TM) RX Vega 11"). The results are like before I can change the settings but cannot run the game in full screen and the frame rate.
Is it a syntax thing?
I don't know if it's relevant but the pc I'm trying to play the game has no screen of it's own but I use the remote access to project it on my all-in-one.

Sorry for the belated reply,
This hardware peculiarity is probably the cause of your issue. Of course, this is a little more than an educated guess on my part. If you get your hands on a "proper" screen or at least manage to borrow that from someone, you could test it again.
Sorry I can't help more here, but feel free to post back if you manage to try it on a different system/with a different screen.
