Random crashing after Island living
I'm having problems with the game crashing after updating and Island Living. There does not seem to be any pattern to the crash. Sometimes I can play for three or four sim days other times it crashes after a few sim minutes. They are not doing the same thing when the crash happens.
I have removed all of my mods and found a few that needed updating and removed the ones I couldn't update. I also removed mods / packages that were causing problems (Adding mods 5 at a time until I found a problem).
I tried checking the last crash report using XML pretty print and another like program but they could not translate it report.
I have the validator report attached. I also have the last crash report if anyone can read it.

Not much in report. Just delete "Game1" folder.
As for your problem, try deleting the cache files too. I don't remember which one are they so just go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. Start the game, close it, and copy saves from folder on desktop to the one in documents. And add mods that you're 100% sure work with game version 1.52.100.1020.

Re: Random crashing after Island living
I don't have a game1 folder just a game folder in the main program folder (not the documents/sims4 folder). The only cache file I can find is the localthumbcache file. I'll try removing that one.
I did rename sims 4 folder and started a new game then started to add my mods 5 at a time. I did find some bad ones and removed them others were updated.
What bothers me is that the crashes happen at different times and during different events. Sometimes it plays for a few minutes and other time it will play for a few sim days without a problem.

Re: Random crashing after Island living
Can't add much else to the discussion, besides trying to play the game without any mods at all, and then see if the issue persists.
But I admit that was not the only reason why I commented here. Seeing that the internal Forum storage fills up very fast (lots of people attaching pictures here), and for general safety reasons (we've seen people trying to get us into trouble by posting "dubious" attachments), I am now disabling attachments altogether.
From now on everybody, if the validator log doesn't fit into a single message, try posting the log into two consecutive Forum posts. Or use a platform like pastebin.
If anybody wants to host images, use the integrated Forumotion image-host (Servimg) please, or an external one like imgur.

Re: Random crashing after Island living
I'm at a loss for this one. Ever since the Island living update I've been having game crashes.
During the update I found that I was missing some files so I re-downloaded them and tried again with no luck.
I started thinking that because of my update download problems the game was corrupt so I uninstalled it an installed the latest all in one pack from Aandius (file were checked with the verifier) and started a new game with no cc. I checked my mods before adding the to make sure they were up to date and played for a few sim days.
I have my cc separated into separate folders (i.e. hair, tops, bottoms, sliders as well as all of my script mods are in separate folder by the modder.
I kept adding them without to much problem. When there was a crash I would pull the last folder I put in the game and check the contents.
The big problem came when I put my tray items into the game. I use the sims 4 tray importer to check the contents and deleted anything that looked corrupt or was missing items. I also deleted a number of buildings a cc sims that I don't use.
Now I have two strange problems. I start a brand new game, play it for a few sim days do a save and exit. Then when I start the game again (resume playing) I get a message upon resuming the game that a build item(s) have been removed.
The other strange thing is that I have a 64 bit machine and have always played the x64 run as admin. Now when I use the x64 I get massive game crashes but I don't get any playing the 32 bit.
The 32 bit plays fine with only a few minor LEs.
I can play the same game with the x64 and it crashes, start the same game the 32 bitand no problem.

Well, good to know that this (still) is an awful game. Thanks for your input @behensks, maybe this will be helpful for other users as well!
