Household limit. [SOLVED]

Hello, I wanna ask - is there a mod/cheat or something released to remove the household limits? I really want to have more than six pets Very Happy

Hello,
I think you could do that with Twallan's MasterController. It allows you to adopt sims and pets to a household regardless, and you can use the "pollinate" interaction to get any of your sims or pets pregnant even if your household is full.
It doesn't specifically mention pets, other than the "adopt pet" interaction but it does work that way. This page can tell you what the mod does, and you can download it from there as well.
Its perfectly safe to use, I'm using it myself.

Okay. So, i downloaded it, and it is in package file. Aand now how should I install it to the game? As I remember I asked you once, but now i can't find that topic..

Hello,
As long as you have the framework (Mods\Packages) in your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder, and the resourcefile is up to date, the mod should now work. More information can be found here.

Ok, so when I tried to release the game second time - the game loaded, and i set "Allow More Than Eight Pets Per House - true", but I still cant have more sims! How is it possible? Looks like mod doesnt working or I don't know. Cause when I added other mods, such as "haircuts" and etc. those ones are working... And also those mods, who were added as an examples (nointro, and nosparkling as i remember) is working great too... ._. Household limit. [SOLVED] 2830496658

Hello,
You wouldn't be able to have pregnancies or move in sims the regular way. But you can use the Master Controller menu to "add sim" to a household, or to adopt a pet. You can impregnate your sims (sim and pet) using Master Controller as well. It kinda takes away the romance but you can do it regardless of how many sims there are in your household. I think you can use it to impregnate the males as well (though I like to stick to what's realistic, so I haven't tried that) and you could use anyone as the donor as long as they're the same species.

Okay, and could you please tell me the last thing - how can i make pregnant my, for example, dog? Should I only press the "add sim" choice and then do something in there or what?

Hello,
Click your dog and a menu comes up, click the Nraas option and from there the MasterController option. A menu comes up, go to basic->pollinate. Then you get a whole list of references by which you can filter the possible donors, you could filter your choice, but you don't have to, if you click the V at the lower right corner you'll get to see all of the dogs in your neighbourhood, pick one and you're done.
With animals, I'd choose to filter by sexe at the very least because its hard to tell by just looking at them whether they're male or female, unless you don't mind if the donor is female.
Anyway, when you finish making your choice, a notification will come up saying your dog was successfully pollinated and the pregnancy will progress normally.
