Been everywhere on the 'net trying to find out how to set everything up but haven't found anything

Hello @Rikerbabe,
In some ways things are similar or the same as with the guide on uTorrent. I might of course write a new one, specifically for qBittorrent.
As with all torrent clients, port forwarding is probably the most crucial thing to do, so if you haven't done so yet, try doing research on how to open ports on your router. And as for qBittorrent, here are the most important settings, that I myself use:

I promise I'll do quick guides for both qBittorrent and Tixati as well, though with the latter I feel somewhat less comfortable with.
