Download To Use... Fresh Install Empty Download To Use... Fresh Install

Post by Guest Sat 14 Mar 2020, 07:06

I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of the base game and all DLC. Have done it three times now and keep coming up with the same issue every time. I have followed the instructions completely but when I start the game, some DLC shows installed and some shows that it needs to be downloaded. Here is a scan. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the G4TW Forums @Rampage1228,

The validator log shows that quite a few of your DLC-related files seem to be missing. Your best bet would be to go under the thread here:
https://www.games4theworld.club/t35810-the-sims-4-all-in-one-global-patch-selectable-dlcs-version-1-61-15-1020-tiny-living-stuff

And load up the magnet link The Sims 4 - DLC files [up to & incl. Tiny Living Stuff]. Note that you should use a VPN when torrenting this item, if you didn't know already. From there you would download everything, or by all means you can pre-select the components that you want to download in the torrent preview. But then you download your stuff, and extract with 7-zip all DLC contents you'd like to have. Which I assume is everything. Just open the files one-by-one with 7-zip, which is available for free (search it). And then drag and drop out the folder that shows up in the program's window, directly into your TS4 installation. These folders that you extract, must be in the same path as __Installer, Data, Game, Support, etc.

Then you load up the download The Sims 4 - Anadius dlc-toggler [up to Tiny Living Stuff]. Put the dlc-toggler.exe into the same path as _Installer, Data, Game, Support, etc. Start the .exe file. Then in the window that comes up, tick the boxes with the DLC that are in WHITE color. If you see DLCs that are in red color, it means those items were not installed (properly). Please un-tick the red DLCs. Refer to the previous paragraph again, about the DLC-folder. If you properly drag & drop each of the DLC files into your TS4 installation, everything should be fine.

If you start up the game the next time, you should be OK again, but if not, please post back so that we can continue troubleshooting. Good luck!
