Hello,
So first of all you are talking about two (entirely) different things. In your topic title you speak about an ".iso file". And in your actual message you speak about the "global update", but these are two different things, even if they are posted in the same topic.
And regardless of where you got your Sims 4 game from, you simply uninstall it by removing your "The Sims 4" installation folder. Right-click on the folder and choose "delete", which will move the folder to the basket.
So again, which download exactly did you grab?

OK, thank you for clarifying that.
But no, the reason I asked that question was not to emphasize your "numptiness". If you use the .iso file, then all you would need to do is to navigate inside it (right-click => open with => Windows Explorer), and then look for a folder "The Sims 4". You COPY that folder. And then you PASTE that folder somewhere on your C: drive.
After which you can start the game from your C: drive (from the folder "The Sims 4"). The actual .iso file can be deleted if you like. Or you can back it up on an external storage medium if you have something available.
Now. If you say you are experiencing problems with the .iso, I would think that something went wrong with your download. As said, this .iso is an "All-In-One". You don't need to do anything special. It is playable as-is. I did put the Disclaimer that people should only download this item if they have a very fast internet. Maybe your internet connection was interrupted, even briefly, and now you have a defective .iso file. We will somehow re-organize that .iso All-In-One later down the road.
I mean, if you cannot use torrents, then by all means feel free to try again the STACK-link. But you can also try running anadius's validator here:
https://anadius.github.io/sims-4-tools/validator.html
In order to do that, please do what I suggested earlier, with copy-pasting the folder "The Sims 4", from your .iso file. Then copy-paste the results of your validator report into a follow-up reply here. That way we could try repairing your installation.
If you already deleted the .iso though, you'll have to re-download it anyways, I guess.
