Sims not aging.[SOLVED] Empty Sims not aging.[SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sat 03 Mar 2012, 18:53

Hey everyone (:

I just discovered this website af few days ago,
and I decided to use the ultimate sims 3 fix,
'casue I had problems with my game forced closed whenever I tried to load a game.
I didn't have any further problems with that.

But then, a few Sim days later, my Sims stopped aging,
and I thought this was weird cause it never happend to me before,
so I immediately blamed the fix I'd downloaded from here.
But after some google searching, I found that it was a (normal) glitch,
at that the only way to make it work proberly again, was to reinstall EVERYTHING !
And I litterally just installed everything again a few days ago, and I don't wanna
do it again ):

So I just wanted to ask the experts in here, if there might be a way to fix it???????

I bought the base game, and I downloaded all the expansions.
I don't know what to do, please help ):

Oh, and one more thing !
I'm buying (or getting for my bdayyy (: (: ) the new Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry,
so how will ur fix work with the bought version of the game, when u update ur fix?

Hello,

First of all, yes, our Ultimate Fix should work with all (non-modified) The Sims 3 games! It'll be updated ASAP after the release of The Sims 3: Showtime.

Lady ElDi knows more about this kind of problems, but just to be sure: did you check your "aging" settings in "Options"? (In-game)

Yes, I did check aging in options,
and I've tried all the things I found on google,
and only one of them works, temporarily.

If I save everyday at 11pm and then go back and load the game again,
it will work fine, for one sim day.
And that gets annoying after a while.

So if I buy Showtime, install it and update to the new update that came out a few days ago, it will work fine?

Hello,

Yes, update the game using the Ultimate Fix (When it's compatible with v1.31!) and you should be good to go. If not, always feel free to post your problem here and we'll get back to you ASAP.
I'm not sure whether it'll fix your aging issue. If it's an actual game bug, yes, it should be fixed after updated to the latest version.

I'd recommend waiting for Lady ElDi's advice.

Hello,
You can try to fix this a few ways, you can reset all your sims at once by using resetsim in the cheatconsole.
If that doesn't work, you can always do a hard-reset with mastercontroller.

I've tried the resetsim cheat, but that one doesnt work for me ):

But the Nraas mastercontroler, is that going to mess up my game
in any way?

I've had costum stuff installed before,
and it didnt do anything else than mess up my game (:

Hello,
Twallans mods are safe, as long as you're using the right version. So if you get Mastercontroller now, it wont hurt your game, just remove it before you update to 1.31 (after the fix has been updated!!!) and replace with a new version if you want.
