problem with saving error code 16.[SOLVED]

Hi I downloaded two of your expansions, pets and generations.
At first I couldnt even start a game but I solved that, then I couldnt load my game, each time I tried som mystical error went bahamas on my ass and told me I better restart the program, I tried to reinstall everything and applying your ultimate fix and now I cant even save the game I get some error code 16.
I am not that handy arround computers I just do not speak their language, please help me I really want to play this game.

I have the base game on disc, world adventures, late night and ambitions aswell, it is just pets and generations I downloaded, the game worked fine before I installed thoose two, did I do some really stupid mistake when I tried do install them?

Yes exactly that, sadly it did happen again, I can save the game but not load it...*sobs*

No should I do that?

ehm I just checked and, I actually did run it in win95 compability mode, I never checked that box, how is this possible ha ha?

yes I found that already and I think it is working fine now, at least I hope so, thank you for your time and all the help
