I installed TSM base game today and was able to play normally with a no-CD crack. Then I ran the launcher, updated to 2.0.113, and downloaded the Ultimate Fix for the updated crack files. Now when I try to run TSM.exe, I get the error "The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to load. Please confirm that: 1) The file was copied over the same folder as the cracked executable 2) The antivirus software is not false-detecting the file (in which case white-list the folder/file)." Can anyone help?

I do not have the Pirates and Nobles EP. Is that necessary for the latest crack to work?

Update: Even after installing Pirates and Nobles, I get the same error. Help

Hello,

The fix does indeed require Pirates and Nobles.
You'll have to reapply the fix after installing Pirates and Nobles for it to work properly.

Okay. Then should I uninstall everything, then reinstall TSM, patch, then install P&N, then Ultimate Fix? Just re-copying the crack files back over after I installed P&N didn't work for me.

Hello,

After doing some reading, it looks like this file could've been quarantined by your antivirus. Before you reinstall, have a look at the vault to see if it's there. If you can restore it, that'll save you the trouble of reinstalling.
You may also have to add the file to the exceptions list.

It did get quarantined! Restoring worked—thanks! Now I just hope this whole forum isn't really some secret conspiracy to get a virus onto my computer....
