Sims 3, lag and freezes

Ok i have sims 3 installed and updated with games4theworld sims 3fix. I also have most expansions installed. When i load a new world or saved game it loads for like 10 minutes and when i try to create a char, it lags, i click on clothing section and it freezes for a while than loads, yet the frame rate stays the same above 150. In game when i scroll around it lags and freezes too. Very hard and unenjoyable to play like that, can you guys tell me what could it be? I also dont have any mods installed just the game and like 8 expansions.

Tnx for reply, but non of those tips really helped me, i have no mods/cc installed just the game and about 8 expansions, also the game lags even when i make a char it freezes sometimes, but when i look at FPS it stays the same it doesnt drop at all.

Which world are you playing, and what are your computer specs? You can see how you pc does compared to the minimum requirements when you run a test here.

I don't even need to run the test because I know that my computer can handle Sims, I play crysis and bf3 with no lag. But yeah It lags in all worlds and loads really slow it also freezes once in a while.

Hello,
Unfortunately The Sims is known for being buggy.
You can try clearing the caches, the simplest way is to get the The Sims 3 folder from My Document\Electronic Arts and dragging&dropping it to your desktop. The game generates a new folder, after which you can copy your saves back.
