Sims 3 Pets - Games4theworld torrent download. (unofficial mod update error?)

Hey there 
So I downloaded and installed the Sims 3 pets torrent that you so kindly put up, however I ran into the 'disc 1' error which I fixed by downloading the readme files separately. My problem now is that when I start the Sims up I get an error saying 'it looks like you have installed unofficial game modifications which are not up to date, this may cause serious game crashes/bugs etc...' - this is roughly it, anyway. Before installing any games I completely updated the base game, do I still need to update again?
If so, how do i do this, as my launcher says I am up to date, and I'm unsure how to use the Origin updater?
Please help!

alright, updated. I installed the ultimate fix and it worked, but now Sims 3 pets is working, but takes a long time to load? My computer is only new and was running my previous sims 3 expansions just fine..

er, scratch that. I'm getting a 'a problem has caused sims 3 to stop working correctly' error as soon as i move a family into a lot.

Yes I am, although they haven't interfered before?
I'm guessing that the ultimate fix just prevented the error message popping up but the underlying problem is still there.

Hello,
If you're using CC, there's a chance it stops working properly because the way objects work was changed by EA to allow pets to interact with them. But that didn't cause this problem.
Mods can work with several game versions but if you were on a very different patch level before, you'll have to find updated versions of your mods.
Try starting the game without your mods folder. You can drag it to your desktop for the moment. If your game starts, you can start testing your mods in small groups.
