Question regarding retail versions.[SOLVED]

So, I got to the ultimate fix part, but I was stumped when I ran into this: "Even if you have a retail version of one or more of the expansions / base game, you still have to apply the crack." Delving into the specifics of that statement. If I own the base game, does that mean I still have to do the "drag and drop" thing for the base game? Or do you mean step 13's "crack" alone?

Yes, you still need to apply the crack to the base game. Even if it's a legally owned copy.
