Unofficial Modification Error

My friend registered her games on my account on the store for the sims 3 then a while later I tried playing the sims then I got the 'Unofficial Modification Error' I don't know if that caused it but before she registered her games on my account I tried installing custom content but it never worked. So then I tried using the crack from the ultimate fix I tried pasting it to the bin of the sims 3 I click move and replace twice then I try my game again still no luck. Maybe its because the serial I used for my game dosen't match the one my friend registered Im not sure so I tried logging out of the sims 3.com tried my game again still dosen't work please help.

I'm a little confused, you used your friends' registration codes on your own account, and after that the unofficial game modification started occurring?
If I understand this correctly, those 2 events are unrelated. Even if you do register your game, that does not grant EA access to your computer to see if the serials you used during installation match the ones you used when you registered.

It could however be caused by either an outdated crack or outdated mods. If you're using mods, test this by dragging the mods folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3. If you're not using mods, please verify that your base game is at patch level 1.36 (see image below) and you're using the latest fix.
