Sims 3: Not able to install any expansions?

Hello,
I have installed the sims 3 base game from this site, without applying the #crack folder.
When I wanted to install any othe expansion pack, the setup won't start up.
I had changed my SKU version for World Adventures (which was located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Wow6432Node Sims The sims 3 ) but after failing to install WA, I changed it back, for the next expansion, whithout any luck...
I have tried to reinstall the Sims, but it won't help.

Please open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop. Now, start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!

I have done everything you said, and the message is gone, but I still can't install any expansion pack or update. I don't know what is wrong this time.

What error do you get when you try to install a new expansion?

Please download and apply the manual patch, specified in step 2, first: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly and then start from step 1 again.
