sims3 + ambitions Update problem.

I've been looking around this forum but i cant find anyone who encounter the same as mine.

so, yesterday, i've installed sims 3 base game. i updated using the launcher and worked fine and played until midnight . so i decided i should give it a try with ambitions.

today, the download for ambitions finished. i uninstalled the sims3 base game, restarted my laptop, reinstall sims3 base and ambitions.

but when i clicked the launcher,it says my base game is incompitable for current version of sims and i should update the game through the launcher. whether i click yes or no, it hangs, and hangs and hangs, now still hanging >.<

im not sure why this happen. so i tried reinstalling all over again, and the same thing happen. so im just gonna stop trying for now and look for answer before i try installing again. is it related to the updates that i have to do before installing ambitions?

if nothing can be done, i'll just go back to the base game loll

Please try the following:


1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3 All expansions.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall The Sims 3. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
4. Install WA.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
5. Install HELS.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
6. Install Ambitions.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
7. Install Fast Lane Stuff.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
8. Install Late Night.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
9. Update the launcher to the latest version.
10. Apply these updated Cracks: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/fixes-f18/the-sims-3-latest-cracks-download-t656.htm
11. The Game should work fine now.

I've tried the exact same thing twice. it still hangs. i tried clicking the launcher before i install ambitions, and everything is fine. but after i install ambitions, the problem came. im thinking it's the pack's problem ?

Hello, Have you tried Installing our Late Night expansion and see if that fixes your problem?

im still downloading other expansions, i'll let you know if anything changes when i download it. thanks !

Suddenly i saw the game surprisingly cheap at a retail store with 50% discount for sims3 deluxe(base game and ambitions) . i bought it haha. thanks again for the download
