No file regeneration

After I installed Supernatural (legitimate) my cache files and thumbnails no longer regenerate after I deleted them, my cc doesn't show up, no files are in dcbackup and 10 gigs of hard drive disappeared. I used the ultimate fix for mac, reinstalled disc, manually patched (launcher won't update) and games crashes in CAS while trying to make a sim. Any suggestions?

I stumbled upon this - my sims 3 game generated a file %USERPROFILE%
with all game content installed. It has everything except mod folder and
when I tried to launch TS3E exe. the wine app says theres an error. I
don't know how or where the wine app came from but its to install
windows programs on a mac. thoroughly confused.

I'm not familiar with Mac's, and not sure what to do.

But are you using .exe or .dmg? since .dmg files are for macs.

(P.S. I have no idea if you do have stuff setup correctly and stuff, nor know how to have it setup correctly.)

Thank you. I deleted everything from documents sims3 folder (gained 10 gigs) and used the userprofie in my applications sims3 folder. game runs choppy but it runs. I will check out the link and I really appreciate your response.
