The sims 3 crashes after a while... [SOLVED]

While im playing the game, after a few minutes, the game frezes and my pc shuts down w/out a warning or anything, I hav tried lowering the graphics, using a booster, tried backing up the The Sims 3 folder, also the DEP, runnig in windowed mode, and none of then are working. I hav installed only one mod called Nraas Traveler which I downloaded the lastest versoin. So is there another way 2 this problem??

I had a similar issue when playing other games.

Problem laptop was overheating.

I first downloaded a CPU heat monitor (just to confirm it was this)

I didn't feel like opening my laptop up to clean the fan at the time, so just used a small window fan, was a bit overneeded but let me continue playing the games I wanted without hassle.

Edit: Since I'm not sure if this is the exact reason because I read this https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t7045-pc-crashes-during-sims-3-game and it describes the same, just would vote overheating more likely then bad/defective graphics card.

Are you on a laptop at all?
Also try backing up and removing this folder completely: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3

I'm on a laptop (Do u need specifc details of my laptop?), and I tried removing it, didnt work, my pc still shuts down after a while, this problem started right after I installed the Supernatural EP, is it possible tht the problem is w/in the Supernatural EP or is there another solution for my problem??

Sony's website about Vaio has the following specs, has a W/L versions of it, but idk probably just color from all I see, since the specs are the same.
