Expansions
Hi, I want to know what can I delete from the expansions folder that is not necessary to make room for more expansions.

Re: Expansions
I don't think anything is really unnecessary in the expansions folders, You can uninstall expansions to make room for ones you want tho.
Also what is your size of the Sims 3 folder with all the expansion packs you have, and how much room do you have in the drive that you have The Sims 3 installed in?
For Example mine installation of Sims 3 is 25.3 GB
If you still have the extracted files to install the sims 3, you can delete tho, that will give you quite a bit of room.

Re: Expansions
Hello,
Only 3GB in total? How about a different drive? You can install the game on an external drive as well, it's no problem.
I wouldn't recommend poking around deleting stuff, that's likely to cause errors.

Re: Expansions
Yeah, if you really want more room for Sims 3, either remove some older programs you don't use anymore, or do the external harddrive way, and move either Sims 3 or the older programs there, even music/movies/photos to the external to create room for Sims 3 on your internal harddrive.

Re: Expansions
Yes, only 3gb in total. Thank you for the help. And I already order the external drive to install everything there. Do you that will improve the game performance.

Hello,
Installing a game on an external drive definitely will not improve game performance.

Re: Expansions
But moving your pictures/movies/music and downloaded .rar and the extracted files to the external and having sims 3 installed on your internal harddrive would be the best choice in actually having it run/performance.
How big is your internal harddrive anyway?

Re: Expansions
It's 319,73 GB, and yes you're right I think putting other things in the external drive will be better.

Re: Expansions
Hmm randomly googled the 319.73 GB and the person made a comment about too much stuff in the trash.
I'm glad I have talked to people from countries who use use , as a decimal point, so I didn't think you had for some insane reason had a internal 31 TB drive.
