Game crashes when sims visit a show

I made sure when installing to follow every necessary step correctly and the game runs fine except when I tell my sims to attend a show (the show time expansion pack) my game will crash. I've added all games as an exception in DEP already.

Update: Just played and the game and it crashed after when my sim got a tattoo. When it crashes it just closes and says 'Sims 3 has stopped working'.

Do you have any CC/Mods installed?

Also, are your graphics cards fully updated?

Yeah I have a bit of CC installed, some hair, makeup and a few clothes and thats it.

And yep all my graphic cards are updated.
