Service Initialization Failed

So I had the base game on my laptop for over a year and my cousins wanted to play pets and supernatural so I downloaded them. After downloading, I installed pets but uninstalled it because it installed in Japanese due to my locale so I uninstalled and re-installed it. After installing both supernatural and pets, I downloaded and applied the fix then updated via the patch and then replaced the .exe and .dll from the # crack folder. When I tried to play the game, it gives the Service Initialization Failed (0x024e424f) error. Would I have to re-install everything or did I just do something wrong?

Looking at some of the Solved Topics, most are related to incorrect game version/ultimate fix, so you did the 1.39 manual patch and 1.39 ultimate fix right?

I did both the manual patch and the 1.39 fix but it gives the (0x024e424f) error. If I try launching via the TS3.exe it gives me this unofficial game modification error thing and when I click continue, it just gives the (0x024e424f) error while launching via the TS3W.exe only gives the (0x024e424f) error.

I already removed all the mods and even the whole Sims 3 folder from My Documents. I tried cleaning the registry too.
Edit: I think I have the razor version of the base game, if that means anything.

RE-DOWNLOAD the Ultimate Fix AND the manual patch.

Thanks for all the help guys, I just got it to work. I just uninstalled everything and cleaned the registry. I'll be waiting for Seasons and 1.42 then, hopefully I'll get it to work then too.
