The Sims 3 Launcher Problems.[SOLVED]

Hi, first of all I would just like to thank you for all the help you give to simmers and your ultimate fix works like a charm. Thank-you so much. :-)

So I updated the patch to 1.42 using the super patcher. Installed it successfully, then went to add my Nraas mods. After that, I open up the launcher and press the play button and it comes up that I have no game disc in. Confused as I had used the crack in the ultimate fix not to mention the Nraas NoCD mod, I go back and put the crack in the Sims 3 bin folder. Still nothing. I try to bypass the launcher by going into my programs and launching the sims 3 supernatural.exe file from there. Still nothing.

I install the patch again, and open up sims 3 and it works but still saying I have no disc installed. My supernatural iso is mounted in a virtual disk drive and all the cracks are in place. I am really confused, it's probably a simple fix, I'm just so silly when it comes to computers.

If you could help me I would be so grateful :-) I am desperate to play sims, even installed sims 2 and my fave EP's from it (seasons, freetime, bon voyage, nightlife) and it just wasn't the same.

I plan on doing a fresh reinstall for my computer for when seasons comes out, but would really like to sort this out now before I do so.

EDIT: I forgot to mention I deleted my cache files and I did try moving the whole sims 3 document to my desktop and playing without the folder but no help.

Do you have downloads from other users?

I'm confused by the supernatural.exe, and having the disk virtual mounted.


All you should have to do is apply the latest ultimate fix.

Have you tried to play it without the mods, and check for updates on them? Since they might not be compatible with 1.42.

Downloads? Um I don't think so..

I have applied it :/ and I can't even play because it says I have no disc inserted.

Where did you get the Sims 3 base + Expansions?

Don't need the virtual disc, if you have the Ultimate fix patches applied.

With the fix, you need to mount nothing. Along with that, take out the NRaas No-CD mod, because that actually conflicts with the fix and causes issues.

Well The Sims 3, Late Night, Ambitions are real copies my father brought but the rest I got from piratebay..

Oops okay I didn't know, I took it out.

This all used to work before I updated to 1.42.
