Sims 3 Weird names. [SOLVED] Empty Sims 3 Weird names. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Fri 16 Nov 2012, 12:19

When hovering over a sim I get something like:
''Gameplay/Excel/dot06_world/ .... /[sim name here]''

Aside of this, everything works perfectly.

Anyone know how to fix it?

//EDIT

One more thing: after further testing this only seems to be happening on the sunlit tides neighborhood.

I've installed the neighborhood by dragging the neighborhood.world files for to Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds

If they are placed inside the in Mydocs\electronic arts\ts3\installed worlds they won't work OR I get duplicate neighborhoods on the drop-down list.

//EDIT

It seems I've managed to fix it.

I deleted all of my mods, including the .world files (that were sold in the sims 3 store) at ProgramFiles\EA\TS3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds
Then I reinstalled the neighborhoods *through the launcher* and the names and everything was then fixed. Now I'll add the mods onto the fixed neighborhood using CCmagic Smile
