Unknown Error Occurred. I've already deleted my preferences and I don't have any com.transgaming or ipatcher files

I retorrented, reexpanded with Stuffit, reinstalled and recracked The Sims 3 RELOADED and several G4TW expansions following every step in the Ultimate Fix and got Unknown Error Occurred again so I deleted all the files I'm supposed to delete but it's not working. I had already cleared my cache with the guide from BluebellFlora before doing all of this.

Why is this happening? It somehow worked last week. I must have done something different but I can't for the life of me remember what it is.

You can try patching up your game, then going to

/Library/Preferences/The Sims 3 Preferences and deleting the "system.reg" file

I've figured out what the problem was and it turns out I was looking in the wrong directory, but thanks anyway! Now I'm having issues with the 'no game disc found' dialogue so I'm gonna go look for a way to fix that.
