Saving Error Code 12 after 1 hour

I have all EPs and SPs, game patched to last version. After 1 hour of gameplay (when I make big in-game changes) , I cannot save my game. Error Code 12. I read some forums, and they say that's because of RAM. I have 32bit Windows 7, 4GB RAM installed, but only 3.12 useful (because of 32bit). I also have some CC. Is there something I can do? I NEED HELP! Really annoying problem, I don't want to save my game every 3mins. HELP!

Install all the pre-Generations updates, base game and expansions. That's the only thing that fixed it for me, I still get it rarely, but it doesn't crash the game if I try again right after.

OK, thanks. But I'm asking will nraas's ErrorTrap mod fix the problem?

Try using Razer Gamebooster for the RAM.

Already using it...

if nothing else helps, shorten your playing sessions! Save often, and exit the game after a while.
Then start playing again .

Thank you, I'll do that. But I'm really confused, ErorrTrap, GameBooster, NoMemories mod, nothing working. Thanks for help
